Jacqui’s first child came into the world six weeks ahead of schedule. The precious preemie has been keeping her quite busy in the new year!
On May 2, 2014, Jacqui attended the Guardian Ad Litem and Child Advocacy Training offered by the Mississippi College School of Law. After a full day of training, Jacqui is now a Certified Guardian Ad Litem in Mississippi.
After passing the Mississippi bar exam on her first effort, Jacqui was sworn in to practice in all Mississippi State Courts on October 17, 2013.
On November 28, 2012, Jacqui began working as a judicial law clerk and court crier for Judge Bernadette D’Souza, the first permanent domestic court judge to serve in Orleans Parish.
Today Jacqui swore the Lawyer’s Oath for the state of Louisiana and she is now duly licensed by the Louisiana Supreme Court to practice law in all Louisiana State Courts.
